Our History

In 1941, a pastor named Jim Rayburn began showing young people how God cares by showing up in their world & sharing the Gospel in ways & words they could easily understand. 72 years later, we began focused ministries at Regents, St. Andrew's, & St. Stephen's high schools & have continued to grow since then.

Now, in cities & villages, towns & tower blocks, in countries on every continent, Young Life leaders work with over two million young people, meeting them right where they are. In our area alone, more than 800 kids are engaged & known by Young Life & WyldLife leaders but we're always looking out for the next kid.

More than 50 college students & young professionals walk alongside kids in the communities around Hyde Park, Regents, St. Andrew's, St. Michael's, & St. Stephen's while discipling students who serve as WyldLife leaders at the same time.

COMMITTEE:

A group of caring adults, on mission to share the Gospel through working behind the scenes to encourage leadership, promote Young Life throughout the community, provide necessary funding, & most importantly, pray for the ministry & those involved.

CLUB:

A weekly gathering, open to everyone, where kids can be kids while hearing a simple & clear message about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

CAMPAIGNERS:

An opportunity to explore what the Bible says about who God is, who we are, and how we relate to Him in a small group setting.

CAMP:

Simply stated - The Best Week of Your Life. A time to step away from the typical to explore the extraordinary lengths God has gone to demonstrate His love for us.
